Participants experienced two simultaneous currents of race, gender, disability, and nation in their roles as educational leadership, organizations, and policy studies (ELOP) faculty: one running on emptiness and exhaustion, and another on wholeness and community. There is a both/and nature to the experience of being a BIFOC in ELOP. Even through the “empty” current, they activated love through creation, resistance, and vindication.
